The aim of the department is to achieve decision advantage in the fields of comparative social research, sociology of young people, sociology of science and education, and research into cultural diversity and tolerance. The department maintains close research ties and partnerships with the European University in St Petersburg, the HSE Moscow Sociology department, the RAS Institute of Sociology in St Petersburg and many other international partners. Faculty are all experienced teachers and researchers from leading Russian and western universities and research centres.

Student Evaluation of Teaching 2023-2024. Module 3.
Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) is one of the measures that allows students to express their opinion on the organization of the learning process and suggest ways of improving or changing it.
Students who have exams in subjects that imply contact hours in the 3rd module, are involved in the Student Evaluation of Teaching. The assessment form is available in a student’s personal LMS account (‘Course evaluation’ option).
Students will be able to assess their teachers from March 4 to March 24 (after that the link in LMS will be deactivated).
