The members of scientific-study group “Applied GIS in Humanities”, 3rd year students of the Department of History, Oleg Kudinov and Sergey Mikhailov participated at International scientific conference of undergraduate students,Ph.d students and young researchers “Lomonosov-2015”, which was held on 13-17 of April.
Students presented their reports at the section called “History of Russia since ancient times till the beginning of the XXth century”. Reports of Oleg Kudinov “Bour war 1899-1902 in the mirror of Russian press” and Sergey Mikhailov “The development of postal communications among states in the XIXth century and preconditions of creation of the Universal Postal Union” were part of 33 works selected out of 300. At this section were presented reports of students from Moscow State University, Saint-Petersburg State University etc. Mostly the reporters were MA or Ph.D students.
The range of subjects represented at this section was very wide: from socio-cultural identity of Russian Middle Ages to Imperial power and Tatar schools in the end of XIXth century. Thesises of all reports were published in “Materials of international youth forum Lomonosov. Moscow, MSU of M.V.Lomonosov, 13-17 of April, 2015” (ISBN: 978-5-317-04946-1).
