To provide high-quality training for students in the disciplines covered by the Department;
To develop and improve methodological support for educational processes through the introduction of new educational technologies, methods and approaches to learning, and incorporating computer technologies and modern training systems, as well as hands-on experience into the educational process;
To work on improving the professional skills and research expertise of the Department’s teaching staff;
To conduct research with the assistance of teaching staff, students, practitioners, and other academic and research institutions;
To perform academic work with students in cooperation with other departments of HSE’s St. Petersburg campus;
To meet the needs of individuals with respect to their intellectual, cultural and moral development, as well as acquisition of professional higher education and training in accordance with state educational standards and the demands of the current market.
