The Consul General of Japan in St. Petersburg was met by Anna Tyshetskaya, Director of the National Research University Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg, Evgeny Zelenev, Director of the Institute of Asian and African Studies, Olga Klimova, Head of the Department of Japanese Studies, Maria Kiseleva, Head of the International Relations Department, Anastasia Borkina, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Japanese Studies, and Daria Antonovna Ivanova, Assistant.
Representatives of the National Research University Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg introduced Mr. Matsuo and Ms. Nishimoto to the current projects of the university, including those in the sphere of international cooperation, told about educational and scientific activities, approaches to teaching Japanese language and exchange programs with Japanese educational institutions, as well as discussed the prospects for further cooperation.
