We are ready to announce the theme! The 4th issue will be dedicated to the school canon.

From Aristotle's Lyceum to the Federal State Educational Standard: how is school canon formed and what difficulties do reformers face? How are textbooks, programmes and teaching methods changing – from composing odes in Latin to showing memes during a literature lesson? To what extent does the school canon refer to reality: cf. Marx — Lenin in Soviet schools and "Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Ethics" nowadays? In the fourth issue, we would like to address these and many other questions by examining the problem of the school canon drawing on examples of different countries, eras and disciplines.


Let us also remind that we are accepting applications for the 3d issue of In your own words. The 3d issue will focus on the research on marginality in various fields of the humanities. You can get acquainted with the announcements of all upcoming issues and the deadlines for submissions on our site, there is also a detailed instruction for authors.
