Science on the Faculty

Faculty members are engaged in research both in the field of applied mathematics and computer science (theoretical computer science, machine learning, text analysis, software engineering, bioinformatics), and in the field of physics. The results of research carried out at the faculty are published in leading international journals and presented at major conferences.

The following scientific departments have been created and are successfully operating at the faculty:

1. Center for data analysis and machine learning (the head is Alexey Shpilman);
2. International Laboratory of Quantum Optoelectronics (the head is Natalya Kryzhanovskaya).
