Members of our Research Group at the GESIS CSSWS’16

In December 2016 participants of our Research Group "Machine Learning and Social Computing", with the assistance of Laboratory of Sociology in Education and Science and minor in Data Science, have visited Cologne on the GESIS Computational Social Science Winter Symposium.

It was an excellent opportunity for us to not only realize, what modern science is, but also to get acquainted with very interesting people, to understand, what other people are doing and engage in new trends of social computing.

"Amazing combination of the scientific environment and informal atmosphere. Both days of the conference were full of events and new acquaintances. The interactive format of the research presentations gave a possibility to understand properly what has been done by other participants. It was my first event of this kind, however I really hope that it’s not the last"
