Additional program information and poster requirements:

1.     Registration

During the registration participants are informed about their group number (#1 or 2) and poster number (on the stands).

Group #1 participants receive poster number from #1 to 34 and #60 to 92.

Group #2 participants receive poster number from #35 to 59 and  #93 to 121.

Participants may start installing their posters as soon as the registration opens on the first day of the conference (the numbers will be marked on the stands). The poster session will be in the afternoon, but it might be possible that participants can already take a look at the posters during the lunch break.

The lists of the group participants will be published on the conference web-site.

During the registration on February 3rd, 2017 the participants may receive their certificates of participation in the student research conference.

      2.     Poster presentation session (The Lightning Talks)
Poster presentation session (The Lightning Talks) will be held in two groups in two auditoria in parallel.
About 35 participants in each group take part in one 'Lightning Talks' session.
Each accepted poster will be presented very briefly (relevance, motivation, key points, poster number on the stands) during the Lightning Talks session so that the audience can get the overview of the topics before the start of the actual poster session. Every presenter gets 3 minutes to introduce their poster. You may use up to three slides in total, we recommend using as little text as possible.
Please send us your Lightning Talks slides as a PDF-file until January 30th, 2017 to nauka-spb@hse.ru
We would like to publish your slides on our web-site, if you prefer your slides not being published, please let us know.

     3.     Poster session (exhibition)

Please bring the printed poster to the event.

Participants may start installing their posters as soon as the registration opens on the first day of the conference (the numbers will be marked on the stands). All the posters need to be installed by the end of the lunch break.

Poster printing format – А0 (84,1 x 118,9 cm, portrait information)

Additional poster printing requirements:

- each poster should state the name of the presenting author;

- legibility, readability, clarity.

Poster presentation may include the following parts: introduction (relevance), study goals and purposes, methodology, key results, discussion, conclusion. The mentioned parts may be presented combined together with the graphic information.

FONT USE: for the presentation name – 72, headlines – 48, main text - 24 (Recommendations eligible for the font types - Arial, Times New Roman).
Please send us your posteras a PDF-file until February 28th, 2017 to nauka-spb@hse.ru We would like to publish it on our web-site after the event, if you prefer your poster not being published, please let us know.
Participants are in charge with printing and bringing their posters. If you want to print it locally you are welcome to use copy centers located in various city districts.
