CYS organized reading groups on the project on finding balance by young people
The first stage of the project is joint reading and discussion of literature. In this article we talk about reading groups based on a new study.

In March, the team of the Center for Youth Studies organized several reading groups on the project "Generation Z in Search of Balance: Working Conditions, Work Regimes and Life Values in the Views of Young People and Employers". Such discussions help all participants to delve deeper into the topic, to understand what has already been studied, to determine the focuses for guide, questionnaire.
We have reviewed foreign and Russian publications of recent years in several semantic blocks:
- work-life balance;
- work regimes;
- youth and other generations in the labor market;
- career trajectories and career expectations of young people;
- employment opportunities;
- portfolioability.
The reading groups helped us to learn more about the difference in attitude to work between representatives of Generation Z and other generations, the demands of young people, including young scientists, to working conditions and their career expectations. We also highlighted those provisions that are considered by researchers in different ways. For example, this is a question about the diligence of modern young people. During the analysis, we will see what our data shows.
