The presentation of the database "Religious, class and linguistic diversity of the Russian Empire in the late XIX century"

The regular session of the scientific-educational group ‘Applied GIS in Humanities: Linguistics, History, Project Work’ was held on Monday, the 21st of September

At the meeting, the database called "Religious, class and linguistic diversity of the Russian Empire in the late XIX century." was presented. This database was introduced by the member of the scientific-educational group, Sergei Mikhailov. Using a map of the XIX century and the census of 1897 the project team compiled the database. It includes a province map of the Russian Empire and the information divided into categories whis are stated in the title. Moreover, at the meeting of the ‘Applied GIS in Humanities: Linguistics, History, Project Work’ were revealed presentation dates of the following databases, which will be held in October this year.
