The Department focuses on three key areas: Constitutional, Administrative and Criminal Law (including Criminal Procedure). Thanks to its current resources, the Department can support the development of separate subdivisions. Furthermore, the current merger of these areas of study under a single unit ensures common approaches to their instruction. These approaches consist of: 1) an in-depth practical component; 2) broad inclusion of comparative methods; 3) due consideration of legal innovations and effectively presenting them to students; 4) a focus on the humanistic role of Law and Human Rights protection, as well as how relevant methods may be applied with respect to economic activities.
