What do we know about other planets? And what do we know about those planets, that are outside our solar system? Is there anything Earth-like? And how can we find planets among the brightest stars?
Noa Yehezkel from NASA will tell us about current projects devoted to search for exoplanets (planets outside our solar system) and how the state-of-the-art Data Science methods can help.
The talk will take place at 3a Kantemirovskaya st. (Room 436) at 10:30 on the 13th of October.
Noa’s talk will open the series of public lectures being a part of the Women Data Leaders in Russia project (wdl-hse.ord). The project aims to increase gender diversity and women's participation in the Russian Data Science community.
