Youth Studies
Senior Bachelor and Master’s degree students in Sociology and Youth Studies are invited to take part in the session "Youth Studies" within the framework of the International Student Research Conference.
The main idea of the session “Youth Studies” is to represent the entire palette of youth studies, youth culture studies and new form of youth solidarity. The accent also will be done on the discussion of the role of ethnicity in youth communities and on the analysis of spaces of inter-ethnic interaction. There also will be the discussion about the youth in the contemporary city. Also we will pay attention to youth consumption and youth careers and career strategies. Session “Youth Studies" is an opportunity to present your academic findings, to share interesting ideas, and to get useful criticism to your project from the leading specialists in the field of youth research. Participation is open to young researchers involved in the study of youth cultures and sub-cultures, youth identities, youth consumption, career strategies and youth in the city. The presentations may include the results of qualitative and quantitative research. Session is going to include the following parallel panels:

Panel 2. Ethnicity, youth and the city
Panel 3. Youth consumption and youth careers
