The course addresses business issues faced by international companies caused by complexity of operating across borders. As the rapidly changing world becomes a more difficult place to operate it is important to empower students with a hands-on experience to identify strategic possibilities and take advantage of global business opportunities.
The course International Business: Challenges and Perspectives in a Turbulent World focuses on modern international business practice in emerging markets, particularly Russia.

Data culture, organizational culture
The course consists of a traditional lecture-segment and a student activit-segment with the core focus on real life situations. All the lectures are given in an interactive format. The theoretical material will be accompanied by presentations and videos.
The course includes intensive teamwork, group discussions, business cases of Russian and international companies, and study visits.
The final assessment will be done upon the results and presentation of the course project.
There are no specific entrance requirements for this course. It would be helpful but not necessary to have knowledge in Management and International Business.
Course participants will develop analytical, critical and problem solving skills through assignments, problem discussions, interactive lectures and case studies.The students will have opportunity to develop course project in teams. The different educational fields and countries will provide valuable experience of cross-disciplinary approach.
