Lab at the "Business with Heart" forum
Representatives of the HSE St. Petersburg Laboratory for Reputation Management in Education participated in the 2nd All-Russian Forum "Business with Heart," where they discussed the development of social entrepreneurship and tools for scaling inclusive practices.
On April 7, the first day of the 2nd All-Russian Forum "Business with Heart" took place at Sberbank headquarters. It brought together representatives of the government, business, and non-profit sectors.
Magdalena Gaete, Head of the Project-Based Learning Laboratory for Reputation Management in Education at HSE St. Petersburg, was the forum's guest of honor. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of intersectoral collaboration and the role of universities as participants in the development of sustainable solutions in the field of social entrepreneurship and social development. She also participated in the awards ceremony for the winners of the All-Russian Partnership Project Competition "Business with Heart," noting the importance of initiatives that create sustainable social impact and foster new models of cooperation between business and society.
Varvara Kulkova, the laboratory's chief expert, moderated a special session dedicated to tools for scaling inclusive employment solutions. Participants discussed which practices are already enabling the replication of successful social business models in the regions. The session focused on three key mechanisms: the availability of proven business models (inclusive cafes, workshops, and other formats), the use of digital franchising platforms for packaging and distribution, and partnerships with large businesses that ensure the sustainability of such initiatives.
The business program concluded with the awards ceremony for the winners of the All-Russian Partnership Projects Competition "Business with Heart," aimed at supporting initiatives with a social impact.
