On March 15, Markovskaya Elizaveta, associate professor of te department of finance,  and Kolawole Shola, lecturer of the Department of Management, held an interactive defense of projects in the form of business game within the discipline “Financial Performance Management” (Master’s program “Data Analytics for Business and Economics”) with the participation of invited external experts and practitioners.

On March 17, the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre hosted the conference about creative industries 'CIBA: Creative industries. Business. Art'. It is a joint project of the students of the Master's programme 'Arts and Culture Management' and the theatre. At the CIBA venue, experts discussed the topic of creative crises in the work of a creator.

From October 2023 to January 2024, students of the Master's programme "Management and Analytics for Business" and "Data Analytics for Business and Economics" implemented a consulting project for the company "Lenta" St. Petersburg.

Last year marked the inception of an ambitious project led by a group of nine students, focused on elevating the user experience for applicants to the "Data Analytics for Business and Economics" program through the implementation of a comprehensive FAQ chatbot (@datahsebot). In the current academic year, a dedicated team of three students (Ivan Vitkovskiy, Evgenii Galushkin, Alexander Epaneshnikov) under the guidance of Professor Natalia Volkova, has undertaken the responsibility of not only advancing but completely overhauling and refining the existing chatbot.

HSE SPB Day has been held at Sevkabel Port in the open air. HSE students were congratulated on the beginning of the academic year by the trustees, faculty deans, and the rousing HSE Dance Club. The first-years had an initiation ceremony, participated in activities from student clubs, and danced to popular songs on the Gulf of Finland. They received well wishes from the professors, representatives of large companies and, of course, student organisations. HSE University-St Petersburg has held the traditional graduation ceremony for bachelor's and master's students. The 'Arena' event hall hosted more than 5,000 people: graduates and their loved ones, students, lecturers and deans.
