HSE SPB Day: See You on September 13 at Sevkabel Port
The main celebration of the new academic year will take place very soon: we invite all first-years and friends of the university to HSE SPB Day at Sevkabel Port on September 13. The event combines an educational programme and recreational activities.
The celebration is dedicated to the beginning of the new academic year and brings together all the participants of the educational process—students, professors, and staff of HSE University–St Petersburg, as well as partners and prospective students.
In just one evening, first-year students will have a chance to learn about all the university opportunities and student clubs, talk to professors in an informal setting, and—most importantly—undergo their initiation as HSE students. The ceremony will feature the participation faculty deans and curators of student groups.
More than 20 student teams have prepared activities to suit any taste: record a mini-podcast, sing karaoke on the waterfront, or audition for a theatre. In the Volt zone, students, professors, and industrial partners will talk about projects, research, and internship opportunities. There, guests will be able to attend a public talk about the extent to which artificial intelligence is integrated into our lives and whether people can do without it. The lecture schedule will be published on the website.

It's important for everyone to expand their horizons and know about the opportunities they can seize. HSE SPB Day is about just that. Obviously, it is a vibrant celebration for our first-years, but it is also a guide or a map of extracurricular life for them. The event features student clubs in all extracurricular spheres: sport, creativity, voluntary work, entrepreneurship, media, science... I recommend that our guests explore all the points, stations, and locations and meet senior students from various educational programmes. See you at HSE SPB Day!
Guests will be able to take memorable pictures and have fun in the photo zones, game, and lounge areas. What's more, the participants who complete the most tasks at the stations of student organisations will get souvenirs with HSE University–St Petersburg branding.
