The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) is located in the country's capital Dhaka and offers its students education in the spheres of humanitarian and social sciences, art, and business. Invited by Prof. Din M. Sumon Rahman, Head of the Department of Media Studies, and Prof. A F M Moniruzzaman Shipu, Dimitry Kharshak delivered the lecture 'Typographic Tools in Branding and Visual Communications' and held an intensive workshop for ULAB students.

Dmitry Kharshak, Dean of the St Petersburg School of Art and Design and coordinator of the school's regional campuses and international programme, said 'I tasked the students with developing their own monogram, and then, based on the results, we created paint masks and transferred them to T-shirts. The shared canvas for students was my white shirt.'

Dmitry Kharshak also discussed opportunities for international cooperation with representatives of the ULAB Department of Media Studies. Joint plans include a competition of student projects, an exchange of main and elective courses, and connecting ULAB to the DAFES digital platform.

The DAFES digital platform unites creative professionals from around the world, cultural institutions, and educational organisations. It serves as both an aggregator of bold entrepreneurial and educational initiatives and a community for the development of young specialists.
