Call International Summer Programs 'Value of culture'
This year the Centre for Research in Arts and Economics (CREARE) if very glad to announce the launch of two programs on Value of Culture in two different parts of the world: Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and Pittsburgh (USA).
Both programs introduce a cultural-economic perspective into the interaction between the arts, culture, society and economy. They are led by Professor Arjo Klamer, Cultural Economist at the Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
The programs are designed for participants who either are professionally involved in cultural organizations, governments, foundations or creative industries, or are studying the world of art and culture.
While the program in Amsterdam is international and draws participants from all over the world, the one in Pittsburgh is run in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and will focus mainly on the USA context.
