Trends and new tools for developing nonprofits in healthcare were discussed at the "Lights of Good" forum.
At the "Lights of Goodness" forum, experts and NGO representatives discussed the development of cancer prevention, patient support, and strengthening intersectoral partnerships. Modern NGO development tools and social impact projects were presented.
On March 14, 2026, a large-scale informational and educational forum, "Lights of Goodness," was held at the Bashir Rameev IT Park in Kazan. Over 700 people participated in the event, including NGO representatives, volunteers, experts, doctors from India, and participants from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, and Kazan.
The forum focused on developing a culture of cancer prevention, supporting patients, and strengthening partnerships between the medical community, NGO's, government, and society.
Varvara Kulkova, the laboratory's chief expert, presented a report, "Trends and New Tools for Developing NGO's in Healthcare," at the "Best Practices for NGO's" roundtable. She noted that the share of NGO's working in healthcare, prevention, and healthy lifestyle promotion is 8.6%, and their number grew very slightly between 2020 and 2024—by only 0.03%.
The report presented tools for supporting and developing non-governmental social service providers. These include the Master's program "Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation," which will launch in September 2026, as well as social impact projects serving as a tool for cross-sector social partnership.
