The course " Intermodal transportation management " is the innovative and practical course applied for investigation of modern logistic business processes, considering globalization of the world. It indicates interrelation of different types of transport, innovative models of effective interaction and communication between participants of a logistic chain of delivery of goods, political and economic solutions of various countries for the organization of the global market.
The particular emphasis is placed on the increasing role of container transportations in the world and its importance in the processes of formation of world economic space.
This course is logical practical addition to basic courses for logistics, carried out within the master program "Strategic Logistics" in department of “Logistics and management of chains of deliveries” in St. Petersburg branch.
