Advanced Accounting Knowledge in HSE SPb from the Top Professionals from Technologies of Trust

Guests from one of the largest audit and consulting companies of Russia Technologies of Trust (TeDo) held an audit game with the students of Master of Finance as part of the audit course. 

During the case, we identified misstatements of the financial statements of the test company, calculated and suggested adjustments, identified risks of the distortion of information and of holding the audit, probable fraud, overstatement of assets and revenue that improves the company’s financial results and position, students expressed doubts of the going concern of the business.

In short, the students used all the financial knowledge, well-coordinated teamwork, and advices of the experienced tutors and, of course, the most important part of every audit – critical judgement!

Beside the external audit for the financial statements with Elena Yaskevich – the former internal auditor of Gazprom Neft, the students also study the basics of risk management, internal controls and internal audit and, of course, the most beloved topic of generations – the fraud with the Director for controlling of Magnit Anna Logunova.
