Guest Lecture by a Partner from "Technologies of Trust" Enriches IFRS Course

On June 18, 2026, our university hosted a guest lecture as part of the Master’s programme Finance (programme supervisor — V. V. Nazarova) and the course International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The speaker was Alexey Kulikov, a partner at the auditing company Technologies of Trust. His expertise brought valuable real‑world insights to the classroom and allowed students to bridge academic theory with professional practice.

During the lecture, students actively engaged in discussions on complex issues arising in the consolidation of financial statements. They linked these challenges to the topics covered in the course, deepening their understanding of IFRS application in real business environments.

Alexey Kulikov presented a series of interesting and in‑depth practical cases. These examples illustrated how audit practices can support complex managerial decision‑making processes. The cases prompted lively debate and gave students a clearer picture of the practical aspects of financial reporting and auditing.
