A Professor from Brazil Giving a Lecture on Futures Markets
On November 28, a guest lecture by the invited expert, Professor Daniel Capitani from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP, Brazil), was successfully held for students of the Finance Master's program. The topic of his speech was "Principles of futures markets with a special focus on agricultural contracts."

Professor Capitani, a recognised expert in the field of price analysis in agricultural markets, has managed to make a complex financial instrument understandable and visual. Using vivid examples from the global and Brazilian experience, he explained how futures contracts work and what role they play in hedging risks and stabilising global commodity markets. The lecture was organised by Kasiyet Kambaralieva, a lecturer at the Finance Department.
The lecture provoked a lively response from the audience. The students noted the exceptional clarity of the presentation, the practical value of the material and the professional passion of the lecturer. After the presentation, a discussion took place, during which it was possible to ask questions and discuss the specifics of the markets of different countries.
This event was another step in the development of international academic cooperation. We would like to express our deep gratitude to Professor Capitani for his excellent lecture and hope to continue joint projects in the future.
