The curriculum of the master’s programme “Arts and Culture Management” contains a unique course The History of Latin American Art taught by Ricardo Monsalve, a professor from Chile. For two consecutive years, the course has been ranked by students as best in terms of new knowledge and opportunity for broadening horizons and understanding. The students of the programme interviewed the professor. In this conversation, Prof. Monsalve shared what it is like to teach Latin American Art at HSE, how students respond to new cultural perspectives, and why learning for him is “more about people than dates or facts.”

On July 3, the concert and sports complex 'Arena' hosted one of the main events of the year—the graduation ceremony of HSE University-St Petersburg. It gathered more than 4,000 guests: graduates, their friends and families, professors, mentors, and representatives of the university's industrial partners. As a part of the study project “Development of marketing and PR strategy for the DOC ART GALLERY”, implemented with the participation of students of the Master's Programme “Arts and Culture Management” under the supervision of the Associate Professor of the Management Department Ekaterina Leonidovna Shekova, a series of events was held to promote the DOC ART GALLERY in the art market of St. Petersburg and to increase the gallery attendance.

The New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre hosted the fifth annual CIBA conference, organised by professors and students of the Master's programme 'Arts and Culture Management' at HSE University-St Petersburg. More than 300 participants, including students, creative experts, entrepreneurs, and representatives of cultural institutions, attended the event.

From December 4th to 8th, 2024, Gisel Sarahi Vergara Herrera, a master’s student in Arts and Culture Management at HSE – St. Petersburg, participated in the prestigious "We Are Together" International Prize 2024 in Moscow. Gisel proudly served as an International Ambassador, representing both her home country Mexico and HSE University at this globally renowned event.

On June 30, HSE University-St Petersburg gathered almost 5000 guests at KSK 'Arena' for the main event of this summer—graduation 2024. Bachelor's and master's students were congratulated by their friends and family, professors and faculty deans as well as HSE University-St Petersburg trustees. The diplomas of HSE University-St Petersburg were awarded to more than 1400 people, and 280 of them received the diplomas with honours.
