The Russia–China Forum of Young Scholars is an important international platform for strengthening academic cooperation between the two countries. This year’s discussions focused on pressing issues in bilateral relations, including trade and economic cooperation, collaboration in high technologies, cross-border cooperation, and joint engagement within regional institutions.

Svetlana Krivokhizh delivered a presentation on discursive cooperation between Russian and Chinese think tanks, noting that while many narratives overlap significantly, each country also maintains its own distinctive emphases.

The forum is co-organized by the Institute of China and Modern Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICMA RAS) and Jilin University, and alternates annually between Russia and China. The next forum will take place in Moscow in 2027.
