Academic Mobility

 

International Mobility Programme at the HSE in St. Petersburg is a unique chance to learn more about educational systems in other countries, develop international communication skills, improve your English and find many friends from across the world!

Centre for International Education HSE St.Petersburg opens call for applications for international mobility programmes at the beginning of each semester. Besides, the students of the St. Petersburg campus may benefit from the participation at the University-wide call for applications (covering all four campuses of the HSE), which is coordinated by the HSE International Student Support Unit in Moscow.

Among the partner universities of the HSE in St. Petersburg that provide exchange opportunities for the students doing their BA studies in Political Science and World Politics are:

Masaryk University (Brno, the Czech Republic)

University of Helsinki (Helsinki, Finland)

“Finland’s largest, oldest and internationally most esteemed research university.”

Cooperation: student exchanges, research cooperation & faculty exchanges (Aleksanteri Institute).

Institut d’études politiques d’Aix-en-Provence (Aix-en-Provence, France)

“Founded in 1956, Sciences Po Aix is one of the ten Political Studies Institutes in France, and the only one situated on the Mediterranean coast.”

Cooperation: student exchanges, faculty exchanges.

University of Monterrey (Mexico City, Mexico)

Cooperation: student exchanges.

Avans University of Applied Sciences (Breda, Netherlands).

The University’s motto says: “The basic principle of Avans University of Applied Sciences is rooted in and springs from its social environment. To maintain and expand its value within its environment, Avans must continue to meet the changing demands of the labour market and the world of work.”

Cooperation: student exchanges (European Union Policies programme).

University College London (London, UK)

“Founded in 1826 in the heart of London, UCL was the first university in England to welcome students of any class, religion, and the first to welcome women on equal terms with men.”

Cooperation: student exchanges (School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies).

Each semester we provide the exchange students from our partner universities with the unique opportunity to study at the one of the best BA programmes in Political Science and World Politics in Russia, whereas our partners welcome our BA students making their “study abroad” experience unforgettable. We also cooperate extensively with our partners at the faculty level engaging into the joint research projects and faculty exchanges.

Today our network of partner universities is rapidly developing to build stronger ties with the academic communities in China, Germany, Italy, South Korea, and the United States of America.
