Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course gives students the knowledge necessary for the implementation of the project in commercial and non-profit sector. The aim of the course is to develop skills in the field of project management.Each project must be limited in time, have clear criteria for the outcomes (given the characteristics of the product obtained), assume an external or internal request.

    determination of project objectives - problem definition - brainstorming - mind mapping - identification of stakeholders (power/interest grid) - the triple constraint - building the project charter
  • Project planning
    project lifecycle - project tasks - work breakdown structure (WBS) - Gantt chart - network diagram - critical path - float time
  • Project team and project execution
    assembling the team - responsibility assignment matrix - leading and managing the team - tasks delegation - executing the project - communication plan - monitoring and controlling - closure phase
