April 15, 17:30 – 'Marketing During a Recession & the Rise of Marketing Analytics'

In the first part, Mr Lee will explain what decades of marketing research have revealed about the winning strategies for companies to adopt during a recession. What is the role of marketing during the coronavirus outbreak, lockdowns, and the recession that will follow? What changes and trends do we observe, and how should marketers react?

In the second part, we will discuss the increasing role that marketing analytics plays in businesses. This draws on Mr Lee’s background in econometrics and business analytics. Learn how marketers can quickly and easily increase their data literacy to benefit from a data-driven marketing world and achieve real results for businesses.

Speaker: Mr Gordon Lee, London-based marketing consultant.

As a trained economist, Mr Lee has a deep understanding of customer behaviour, business strategies, and the competitive and macroeconomic challenges that businesses face.
